The SMB (SubMiniature Version B) connectors are the smaller version of the SMA connector which feature a snap-on coupling mechanism and are available for both impedance ratings of 50 and 75 ohms. The connectors have an operating frequency of up to 4GHz. The SMB range could be described as a reverse polarity system as the plugs have female contacts and the sockets have male contacts.
