MMCX (micro-miniature connectors) are 50-ohm compatible connectors and are considered one of the smallest RF connectors available. They feature a lock snap mechanism which looks for a 360-degree rotation. They are suitable for applications that use frequencies up to 6GHz and with their small footprint are widely in use in antenna situations in devices such as mobile phones and small devices that use GPS receivers.
